By joining Carbonfund.org’s CarbonFree® Partner program, Saibot has joined a national movement of businesses and organizations that are leading the fight against global warming. Carbonfund.org’s CarbonFree® Partner program supports third-party validated renewable energy, energy efficiency, and reforestation projects in the U.S. and abroad to reduce global CO2 emissions and help hasten the transition to a clean energy future. “Personally and professionally, I believe that we all have a responsibility to protect the world we live in,” explains Saibot’s founder, Adam Furman. “By offsetting our carbon emissions we are doing our part to protect the environmental resources of our planet.” Saibot recently offset 35 tons of CO2 emissions, relatively equal to the company’s actual carbon footprint. “Since we work with environmentally conscious clients on a regular basis, we may be more aware of the effect our actions have on the environment than most companies, but the fact is that all businesses can take small steps that add up to a big difference. All it takes is some commitment and accountability for our actions.” Saibot’s connection to Carbonfund.org’s CarbonFree® Partner program is just one step in the company’s green initiatives.
